• How do I sync screenshots from my phone to Figma?

  1. Capture (with AutoPort) or Upload real-app screenshots on your Android or iOS device.
  2. They sync to your Altnativ cloud library with useful context (device, OS, timestamp) available across Android, iOS, and the Figma plugin.
  3. Insert them into your design files on Figma via the Altnativ plugin for side-by-side comparisons and annotations.
• How does the Chrome extension work?

  Capture as many screens as you like while you browse. Review what you collected, keep the ones you want, and send them to Figma all at once or one by one. Everything you keep also saves to your Altnativ library. Add it from the Chrome Web Store.

• Do I need the mobile app to use the Chrome extension?

  No. The extension works on its own. What you capture on the web lands in the same library as your Android and iOS screenshots, so you can collect on your laptop and still insert them through the Figma plugin.

• What gets saved with a Chrome capture?

  Chrome captures include the site's favicon and URL automatically, so every screenshot is labeled with where it came from.

• Can I use Altnativ without a subscription?

  Yes. The Free plan includes 2 GB of storage. Pro upgrades you to 30 GB.

• Can I cancel my subscription anytime?

  Yes. Subscriptions are managed through the Altnativ Figma plugin — open the plugin, go to your account settings, and cancel from there. Need a hand? Email [email protected].

• Is there a limit to how many screenshots I can transfer?

  Total transfers are bounded by your plan's storage — 2 GB on Free and 30 GB on Pro. On the Free plan there's also a daily cap: you can paste up to 25 screenshots into Figma per day.

• How do I get started?

  1. Download Altnativ on Android or iOS → open the app.
  2. Create an account & sign in (Email, Google, or Apple).
  3. Upload shots — tap Upload to add screenshots from your device gallery. Your shots sync to your Library automatically.
  4. Install the Altnativ plugin from the Figma Community.
  5. Open the plugin in a Figma Design file.
  6. Sign in to the plugin with the same account.
  7. See your screenshots → filter by Date / OS, tap any screenshot, and insert it into Figma.
